Kristin graduated from a 3000 hour program of Utopia Academy and has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2010. During her studies, Kristin developed a passion for Myofascial release, due to its profound effects on releasing tension and adhered tissues such as scar tissue and chronic overuse injury. Myofascial release has become a large part of her focus during treatments, along with deep tissue release and general Swedish techniques.

Kristin has worked in a number of multidisciplinary clinics. Battling with chronic pain herself, Kristin believes physical therapies and an active lifestyle work hand in hand to achieve good health and overall recovery. Her main focus in treatments is pain relief, to bring wellness to the body, both mentally and physically, in order to gain better quality of life.

Klaus completed his degree at University of the Fraser Valley where he was also a member of the Varsity Basketball team. While completing his degree Klaus jumped at all the volunteer opportunities that arose. One of his most memorable experiences was with the Stroke Group of Abbotsford, that sparked his interests in geriatrics.

After completing his degree and working in the field, he gained experience in many types of environments such like, but not limited to, geriatrics, acute care in rehabilitation as well as being a member of an interdisciplinary team with the Pain and Medication Management Program. Sydney is a recent graduate with her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Exercise Science, from the University of the Fraser Valley. She settled on injury rehabilitation as a career through an interest in human anatomy and physiology, leading her to begin working as a Kinesiologist. Sydney is also a trainer for a junior football team and has helped as a trainer for other sports, such as volleyball and hockey. As a trainer, she spends time taping athletes and assessing and providing First Responder level medical care and physical rehabilitation for on-field injuries. She enjoys how hectic the sports setting can get and how incredible it is to observe the entire rehabilitation process, from initial injury to the athletes’ return to play.

Adella’s Pilates journey started after she had her daughter and it’s already been eight years. She got inspired by her first Stott Pilates instructor, who helped her with multiple surgeries due to her health issues. She adopted new ways of using and moving her body. Pilates was her life-saver and now a life partner.

Jen completed her Master in Science of Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta in 2008. After completing school, Jen quickly found her passion in a holistic approach to treating the body through movement and became certified in Rehabilitation Pilates through STOTT Pilates. Shortly thereafter, she became interested in Pelvic Health Therapy and took courses to be able to assess and treat the pelvic floor muscles internally. She is also certified in Dry Needling through Kinetacore and Röst Therapy for pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain.

Jen uses all of these additional training techniques to inform how she looks at the body. Pelvic Health Physiotherapy assessments involve looking at the whole system from head to toe, including the spine, global movement and breath.
