Klaus completed his degree at University of the Fraser Valley where he was also a member of the Varsity Basketball team. While completing his degree Klaus jumped at all the volunteer opportunities that arose. One of his most memorable experiences was with the Stroke Group of Abbotsford, that sparked his interests in geriatrics.
After completing his degree and working in the field, he gained experience in many types of environments such like, but not limited to, geriatrics, acute care in rehabilitation as well as being a member of an interdisciplinary team with the Pain and Medication Management Program.
